The Toniks

The Toniks were formed in September 2007 by Mark Taylor - Singer/bass player/songwriter - & Jez Parish - Guitarist/songwriter with Drummer - Gary Sanger, Guitarist � Tom Parish (poached from his course at Leeds University!) and Keyboard player � Jim O�Neil joining shortly after. Armed with a batch of fresh, uplifting & catchy pop tunes, they have already started to attract interest from management companies & amp; small labels just from their Myspace page alone � www.myspace.com/thetoniksmusic. This year definitely bodes well for the lads as they start to gig regularly in the time honored tradition of building up a fan base while capitalizing on the interest already shown & amp Recently recorded with Graham Dominy who has worked with Razorlight and the like,On these recent recordings they have even borrowed the brass sections from Tom Jones's band on the next single 'you and I" due for release September 2010 ; not forgetting, having a great time in the process!:) 2010 looks set to be the year of The Toniks!
