The public's favourite track in May was Darkness by Nigel StewartNorth Manchester writing , performing and producing musician , songs that get under your skin and not always in the most comfortable way !
The 2 songs on the Vote4TopTunes site 'Cost' and 'Darkness will be on a soon to be self released 5 track EP called 'Angry Love Songs' , the angry love songs concept is to get as far away from the slushy, mamby , pamby ,maudlin of the many singer/songwriters around at the present time , while the songs should sound pleasant enough to the ear on first listen , a closer observation of the lyrics reveal a darker undertone .
Cost is a cynical take on being in love , that some where along the line its gona cost you dearly , it always does !
Darkness is a strange one in that it appears all is lost , when the gas and lecki bill both come at once , you get dumped and crash you car all in the same week ! but really as time goes by it does 'nt seem that bad and you never know what the next day will bring , its not always as bad when you look back six months later!
The EP should be complete by mid-summer.
